Therapy & Life Coaching
A space to be slowly,
gently met.
One-to-one therapy sessions for those carrying something heavy, those between chapters, and those simply ready to be heard.
What This Is
Therapy Drawn From
Three Quiet Traditions
Our sessions weave narrative therapy, mindfulness, and therapeutic horticulture. They are held by a trained therapist, in a space where it's okay to cry, to be quiet, to laugh at something unexpected, or to spend an hour mostly just looking out at the garden.
The pace is yours.
Who Comes Here
What To Expect
Sessions are between 60-90 minutes. We meet at our Singapore garden studio, or online via video — whichever feels right. The first session is unhurried; we spend it understanding what brought you here, with no pressure to share more than you'd like.
60/90 minutes per session
In-garden (Singapore) or online via video
First session: a soft getting-to-know-each-other, no pressure to continue
Sessions usually held weekly or fortnightly, but we adapt to your rhythm
The Mindful Garderner
I am a therapist and the founder of MonGarden Therapy, a home-based mental wellness space rooted in the belief that healing can feel gentle, human, and deeply personal.
My approach blends narrative therapy, mindfulness, psycho-education, and nature-inspired practices to help people reconnect with themselves and tend to their inner gardens with compassion and care. I believe growth does not always have to happen through pressure — sometimes we bloom best when given enough safety, softness, sunlight, and space to take root.
Before transitioning into psychotherapy and education, I worked in insurance planning, where I found meaning in supporting people through seasons of uncertainty and change. Today, that same intention continues to guide my work: creating spaces where people feel safe to slow down, prune what no longer serves them, nurture what matters, and grow at their own pace. I came to this work the long way around, and I hold it with care.
Hello there, I’m Mon

“Is therapy only for people who are severely struggling?”
Not at all.
Therapy is not only for moments of crisis — it can also be a space for growth, reflection, self-understanding, and emotional support. Just as we tend to a garden before the leaves begin to wilt, caring for our mental wellbeing can happen gently and proactively too.“Do I need to know exactly what to say before coming for therapy?”
No preparation is required.
Many people come into therapy unsure of where to begin, and that is completely okay. Sometimes we simply start with how life has been feeling lately, and slowly make sense of things together — one seed, one conversation at a time.“Will I be judged or analysed?”
Therapy is not about being judged, criticised, or told that something is “wrong” with you.
At MonGarden Therapy, we hope to create a warm and compassionate space where you can show up as you are — messy thoughts, tangled roots, difficult emotions and all.“Does going to therapy mean I am weak?”
Seeking support often takes courage, vulnerability, and self-awareness.
Just as plants sometimes need sunlight, water, support sticks, or repotting to continue growing, humans too are not meant to navigate every season alone.“Will the therapist just give me advice?”
Therapy is less about telling you what to do, and more about helping you reconnect with yourself, your values, patterns, emotions, and inner wisdom.
Rather than “fixing” you, therapy supports you in understanding how to tend to your inner garden in a way that feels sustainable and authentic to you.“What if I cry during therapy?”
You are welcome to.
Tears, silence, uncertainty, laughter, frustration — all emotions are welcome here. Sometimes emotions are simply the rain our inner gardens have been holding back for a long time.“Do I have to commit long-term?”
Not necessarily.
Some people come for a few sessions focused on a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term support for deeper exploration and growth. We can discuss what feels most supportive for your needs and pace.“What makes MonGarden Therapy different?”
MonGarden Therapy offers a gentler, more experiential approach to mental wellness by blending psychotherapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness, storytelling, and nature-inspired practices within a warm home-based environment.
We believe healing and growth do not always have to feel clinical or intimidating — sometimes they can begin through curiosity, connection, play, and learning how to tend to ourselves with compassion.
