A quiet sanctuary,

tucked between

‍ ‍ leaves and light

MonGarden is a therapeutic horticulture boutique in Singapore - a soft landing space for those carrying something heavy, those quietly searching, and those simply wanting to slow down and remember themselves.

The Seed

Born from a quiet question: MonGarden began with a simple wondering - what if therapy didn’t always happen in a room? What if the garden could hold us, the way it has been holding everything else, quietly, for centuries?

Founded by a Therapist and a Gardener (often the same person, on different days), we hold space for the kind of healing that does not announce itself.

Slow. Grounded. A little wild.

The Soil

MonGarden Therapy was created as a gentle departure from the traditional clinical approach to mental wellness. By blending storytelling, horticulture, psychoeducation, and immersive activities within a warm home environment, we hope to offer a fresh and approachable way for people to engage with healing — one that feels human, grounding, and deeply personal.

Rather than simply talking about growth, participants are invited to experience it for themselves: slowing down, reconnecting with their inner worlds, and tending to themselves with compassion through the wisdom of nature.

The Blooming

Launched in conjunction with World Mental Health Day in October 2025, MonGarden Therapy was created to offer a different kind of experience — one that blends Nature, Play, Reflection, Psychoeducation, and Community in a comforting home environment.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of holding space for more than a hundred participants, each bringing their own stories, struggles, and growth into the garden.

What sets us apart is not simply our process, but the intention behind it. Every experience is nurtured with care, empathy, and purpose — creating powerful stories that remind people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and tend to their inner worlds with compassion.

Thank you for being here. I’m Mon — a therapist and the founder of MonGarden Therapy, a home-based mental wellness space rooted in the belief that healing can feel gentle, human, and deeply personal.

My approach blends narrative therapy, mindfulness, psycho-education, and nature-inspired practices to help people reconnect with themselves and tend to their inner gardens with compassion and care. I believe growth does not always have to happen through pressure — sometimes we bloom best when given enough safety, softness, sunlight, and space to take root.

Who holds this space

Hello There

Before transitioning into psychotherapy and education, I worked in insurance planning, where I found meaning in supporting people through seasons of uncertainty and change. Today, that same intention continues to guide my work: creating spaces where people feel safe to slow down, prune what no longer serves them, nurture what matters, and grow at their own pace.

When I’m not running workshops, I’m probably re-potting something, taking too long over coffee, or walking my dog very slowly. I hold this work the way I’d hope to be held myself - with care, without rushing, and with room for the parts that aren’t ready to speak yet.

A Note From The Founder

‘‘MonGarden Therapy was born from a deeply personal journey. During a period of caregiving for a loved one experiencing manic psychosis, I found myself navigating the quiet aftermath of PTSD, emotional exhaustion, and the longing for a space that felt safe enough to simply breathe again.

As I searched for healing spaces in Singapore, I realised that many felt clinical, intimidating, or emotionally distant. I longed for something gentler — a sanctuary that felt human, grounded, warm, and hopeful. A place where healing did not feel like something to “fix,” but something to slowly tend to with care.

That longing eventually became the seed for MonGarden Therapy.

“Mon” means “my” in French, and MonGarden simply means “My Garden.”

More than a name, it reflects the heart behind this space —

An invitation into a shared sanctuary where we can slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and tend to our inner worlds together with compassion and softness'
